Important information for participants

Social Events Tours and dinners require pre-registration
* 08.09 – Welcome dinner at the hotel Bay View, at “Nofim” hall,  18:00 PM.
* 10.09 – Gala evening at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, at 19:00 PM. Walking distance from the Bay View Hotel, Prof. Oz Gazit will escort you from the hotel at 18:45.

 Venue/ Location
The conference will take place at the Schulich Faculty of Chemistry Department at the Technion campus, Haifa.

Arriving to the Technion
by public transportation:
Haifa has two main bus-train terminals:
* Hof HaCarmel – The number 11 bus is a direct bus to the Technion. It leaves from platform 16 and runs only once or twice an hour. Otherwise take the 123 from platform 15; you will have to change at Ziv center (ask the driver where to get  off) to any bus going to the Technion (11, 17, 19, 31).
* Merkazit HaMifratz – The 142 reaches the Technion. It leaves from platform 21 and runs a few times a day. Otherwise take the 16 from platform 23; you will have to change at Ziv (ask the driver where to get off) to any bus going to the Technion (11, 17, 19, 31).

Arriving to the Technion by car:
If you wish to enter with your private vehicle to the Technion, tell the guard and the gate the name of the conference (“Catalysis: Small Molecules, Big Challenges”). Please do not to park in places marked “Parking for vehicles with red stickers”; It is recommended to park at the entrance near the “Nesher Gate”.

Lunch
All conference participants will be served lunch at the venue.
Coffee, drinks and light refreshments will be provided during the conference.

Invitation letter

Wireless internet is available free of charge in all of the conference venues.

Climate & Clothing
The weather in Haifa in June is sunny and warm during the day. Temperatures range from 22°C – 32°C.

Clothing will be informal for all occasions.
