Arriving to the hotel by public transportation:
Merkazit HaMifratz bus station – The 136 line reaches the hotel. It leaves from platform 19 and runs approximately every half an hour. Get off at the “Ha Nasi – Panorma Center” station.
Foreign participants
During check in when you present your passport and the B2 entrance card which you receive at the airport (which indicates your exemption for paying vat), the rate of the accommodation will be reduced accordingly.

* 08.09 – Welcome dinner at the hotel, at “Nofim” hall, 17:30 PM.
* 09.09 – Free evening.
* 10.09 – Gala evening at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, at 19:00 PM. Walking distance from the Bay View Hotel, Prof. Oz Gazit will escort you from the hotel at 18:45.
* 11.09 – An organized tour to Caesarea, a minibus will leave after the conference from the hotel, at 15:30 PM. Estimated return to the hotel at 21:00 PM.
Arrival to Israel
This is kindly reminder to send us your flights information to Israel (flight number and company, dates and hours).
You can reach Haifa- Merkazit HaMifratz by train from the airport, or order a taxi from the airport to Haifa.
Taxis from the airport:
For your convenience there are licensed taxi stands located along the sidewalk on the ground floor level at the Gate 03 exit, And on level 2 at the gate 21 exit. Please note, there are reduced rate for taxis on level 2, to destinations in the price list.

Agreement with “Neve” taxis
You can benefit from the agreement between the Technion and “Neve” taxis for a discounted rate.
The prices below are for the Ben Gurion airport to Haifa route or vice versa:
- 420 NIS (about $ 115) – a day rate
- 473 NIS (about $ 130) – night rate
- 473 NIS (about $ 130) – weekend rate

Arriving to the Technion
Every morning a minibus will leave from Bay View Hotel to Technion, at 08:00 AM. The bus will wait outside the hotel, with a “Technion” sign.

Wireless internet is available free of charge in all of the conference venues.
Climate & Clothing
The weather in Haifa in June is sunny and warm during the day. Temperatures range from 22°C – 32°C.
Clothing will be informal for all occasions.
